2018 Summer Camp Sessions Announced

March 6, 2018

Here is a link to the original story on the team's website.

– The San Jose Giants announced today two sessions for their twelfth annual Summer Camps at Municipal Stadium. The organization will offer one camp in June and one in July providing families with a pair of options for getting their kids involved. Session 1 will take place June 18-21 and Session 2 July 9-12. Both camp sessions run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day and focus on developing baseball skills for boys and girls ages 7 through 14.

Campers will receive expert instruction from former college and high school players who are passionate about skills development and teaching the game of baseball. Participants can expect to improve their all-around skillset including baserunning, hitting, pitching, catching and fielding.

“With the 2018 season quickly approaching I am eager and excited to get on the diamond and develop young athletes’ baseball skills while also focusing on the broader lessons that can be learned from this game,” said Jimmy Quintanilla, Account Executive and Camp Director. “I would encourage anyone who is serious about improving or who is just learning the fundamentals to come out this summer and take same field that many of our favorite Giants have played on.”

Both camp session costs $295 per camp prior to April 26. Following April 26, the cost to register will increase to $315. Included in the registration price, each camp participant will receive tickets for the entire family to a designated San Jose Giants game, Summer Camp T-Shirt, lunch provided each day, and over 20 hours of baseball instruction! To learn more about the San Jose Giants Summer Camps visit sjgiants.com, call 408.380.4603 or email [email protected].

Welcome to clubphilanthropy.com!

Minor League Baseball clubs have been actively involved in their communities for many years. For the first time, their activities and contributions will be chronicled on this site.

Clubs don’t publicize all of their activity, so these stories represent a mere fraction of the contributions MiLB clubs make to their communities every year.
