TV Actor Dennis Haskins appears at Arvest Ballpark August 29th
Springdale, AR – Dennis Haskins, the actor who portrayed Mr. Belding on the iconic TV Series “Saved by the Bell”, will be in attendance to host the Northwest Arkansas Naturals’ Teacher Appreciation Night on Thursday, August 29th at 7pm at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale. The event will also feature a Naturals Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular!
“I am excited to visit Northwest Arkansas,” said Haskins, who grew up in Chattanooga, TN and attended UTC before pursuing a career in Television, Stage, and Film. “I have heard so many great things about the area. And I can’t wait to meet the team and see them play as well. But especially look forward to saying hi, shaking hands, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. And all of this is such a beautiful ballpark.”
The Naturals’ Teacher Appreciation Night comes on the final Thirsty Thursday and Buck Night of the Naturals Regular Season Schedule. Specially Discounted $5 Reserved Seats will be available to all faculty members and their families, when purchasing tickets in advance. Thirsty Thursday consists of $2 20 Oz. Miller High Life Drafts and $1 Small Coca-Cola Fountain Drinks, as a part of Buck Night, which also includes $1 Peanuts and Farm Rich® Mozzarella Sticks. Dennis Haskins was a featured cast member on NBC’s Saved by the Bell as the Principal, Mr. Belding, at the fictitious Bayside High School for the show’s entire run from 1989 through 1993. He appeared on two spin-offs of the program and two feature-length films also based on the series. Since then, Haskins has appeared in numerous hit TV series like AMC’s Mad Men, How I Met Your Mother on CBS, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FX. In 2009, he also released a music album.
