The Promo Team is an integral part of home Drive games and devote their time to energizing the fans at Fluor Field and making sure that everyone has a great game day experience!

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing individual with a fun, energetic personality. Must be 16 or older, able to attend Drive home games, work nights and weekends and have reliable transportation.

You will be responsible for handing out promotional material, assisting with mascot functions, helping with sponsored promotions, pumping up the crowd and having FUN!

The Drive wants positive minded persons. You will be the fresh face of our promo team that will be responsible for interacting with fans and making sure they have a pleasant experience.

Auditions will consist of interactive group games, improv activities, and opportunities to interact with other candidates and the judges. These activities are meant to assess each candidate’s personality, enthusiasm, energy, teamwork skills and their comfort level in front of a crowd.

Candidates should wear comfortable, but active, attire INCLUDING athletic shoes

REEDY

The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to sustain energy throughout a Drive game. Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation. Height Requirements: 5’9″ to 6’2″ to fit into the costume. You must be a highly skilled performer with a great ability to improvise and animate. Previous experience as an animator, character, mascot, or interactive entertainer is a plus. Seeking people in good physical condition with skills in dancing, tumbling, gymnastics or acrobatics. Must be good with children and be an outgoing people person.

9:30AM – 11:30 AM

Position requires five months of 66 home games to attend, from April through September. You will have a preset schedule of game dates and times. Most games are in the evening and dates will include weekends. Please note our mascot performs outside in summer months and must take into consideration the likelihood for high temperatures. Additional appearance requests will be all calendar year. You will be required to fulfil additional, non-gameday, appearances to be considered for gameday appearances. Compensation is on a per game basis and will be paid bi-weekly.

Those interested in auditioning will be required to have a 30 second to minute long performance/sketch prepared. This performance is at the discretion of the performer and must be appropriate for a family audience. We suggest you incorporate skits, your dancing abilities, and how you would interact with fans of any age. Tryouts will be on the dugout top. Please arrive on time. We will audition all candidates until all have had opportunity.

Spectra To Host Hiring Event At MGM Park on February 2

Spectra Food Services, the official concessionaire of MGM Park, will host a hiring event at MGM Park on Wednesday, February 2 from 5 to 7 pm.

Available jobs for the 2022 season include cooks, suite attendants, food runners, bartenders, dishwashers, warehouse workers and help with food preparation. Interested applicants can enter the ballpark through the commissary area, located behind home plate at the ballpark. Applicants can park in the lot on the northeast side of the stadium, located off the corner of Caillavet and Howard Avenue.

The Biloxi Shuckers open their seventh season on the road against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Friday, April 8. Biloxi then returns to MGM Park for their home opener against the Mississippi Braves on Tuesday, April 12. Shuck Nation Memberships, Flex Plans and group outings are now available for the 2022 season and individual tickets will go on sale at a later date. Event spaces at MGM Park can be booked for private events during the offseason by calling (228) 233-3465.

Prior to the start of the Shuckers’ season, MGM Park will host a Top 25 college baseball matchup on March 8 and 9 as the defending national champion Mississippi State Bulldogs, ranked the #3 team in Baseball America’s preseason poll, take on the #23 ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders. Tennessee Smokies To Host Job Fair on February 19th

SEVIERVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Smokies have announced that the club will be hosting a Job Fair at Smokies Stadium on Saturday, February 19 from 10:00am until 3:00pm. When arriving please enter at The Batter’s Box Bar + Grill Restaurant located on the left side of the parking lot.

The job fair will feature positions from many departments with part-time and seasonal positions within Smokies Stadium. The Tennessee Smokies are looking for employees who are able to work all home games and additional events as needed inside Smokies Stadium. Most games are held during evening hours of the week and many weekends.

Available departments include new hires for food and beverage, ticketing, production, promotions, merchandise, and stadium operations.

Food and Beverage is looking to fill positions for cooks, cashiers, runners, servers, picnic attendants, and group area attendants. Other available positions in the Restaurant include cooks, servers, bartenders, and hosts.

West Sacramento, Calif. — The Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will be hosting their annual job fair on Saturday, Jan. 29 at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, looking to hire over 300 employees. The event will take place from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. (PT) rain or shine.

NATURALS HOSTING JOB FAIR AT ARVEST BALLPARK ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH

SPRINGDALE, Ark. – The Naturals and Patina Restaurant Group will be hosting a Job Fair at Arvest Ballpark in the Northwest Health Community Room on Thursday, February 10th beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Patina Restaurant Group, the official caterer of Arvest Ballpark, will be taking applications and conducting on-site interviews for part-time, Gameday associates who, if selected, will be instrumental during the upcoming 2022 season. Both organizations are seeking individuals that, if hired, will continue the tradition of providing top-notch customer service to fans.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS NATURALS

Kids Zone Attendant

Kids Zone Attendants are responsible for ensuring all children play safely while having fun. This area includes four (4) inflatables, kid’s train, a mini-golf course, speed pitch, and our wiffle ball field.

Parking Attendants

Naturals Parking Attendants are the front-line employees of our Gameday Associate Customer Service Team. Parking attendants are asked to process cash transactions and make change as needed.

Mascot

Engaging, enthusiastic individual that will act out the character of the Naturals mascots “Strike” and “Sinker”. Perform at all (or majority of) home games at Arvest Ballpark and some community appearances, as requested. Must be able to be active for up to 2 hours in costume and have a willingness to show your personality through the characters. Training and a script for each game is provided, and a handler is also assigned to help with crowd control and getting mascots into position.

Usher

Ushers must be willing to interact with fans and check for correct seat locations on tickets.

Ticket Seller

Responsible for selling tickets and assisting fans at the window. Money handling and customer service experience a plus, but not required. Does require basic familiarity with computer and ability to use our ticket system, ProVenue. This position is normally finished by the second inning of the game

Ticket Scanner

Ticket Scanners should welcome the fans with enthusiasm. All scanners will be trained in the use of the hand-held scanner and Naturals Policies. Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Bag Checker

Bag Checkers are essential to Arvest Ballpark security. Associates will search and identify objects, food, and/or drink that are not allowed. Working hand-in-hand with the ticket scanners, bag checkers will help organize the entry lines and answer any fan questions. Checkers will also manage in-game re-entry by checking fans in and out of the ballpark. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Retail Associate

Requires organizational skills, ability to complete sales, and maintain inventory accurately. The ability to multi-task is also important as the retail store may be very busy at times throughout each game. Money handling and customer service experience a plus, but not required.

Camera Operator

Camera operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down game day cameras. The cameras used are JVC GY HM-800s. Training will be provided for setup, breakdown, and operation.

Grounds Crew

Grounds crew is needed for home games, high school games, and other special events. Duties involve batting practice tear down, cleaning equipment, 5th inning drag, and post-game patching. Applicant must be able to lift a minimum 50 pounds, be willing and able to work in various weather conditions.

PATINA RESTAURANT GROUP

Concession Cashiers, Runners and Servers

Serve our fans in a fast and professional manner. Must be friendly, personable, and well groomed.

Cooks

Preparing all food to proper temperature and ensuring consistency product. Capable of working fast.

Suite Attendants

Provide guests with reliable, professional, and courteous food and beverage service. Experience in a la carte waiter service is preferred but not required.

TinCaps Holding Mascot Tryouts

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Fort Wayne TinCaps (Minor League Baseball’s High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres) are holding tryouts to be the team’s mascot for the upcoming 2022 season.

Auditions will be held at the team’s ballpark, Parkview Field, on Saturday, February 5 and Saturday, February 19 from 12 – 2 p.m. on both days.

The team is looking for friendly and energetic individuals to serve as Johnny TinCap, one of the most recognizable characters in not only the Fort Wayne area, but across all of Minor League Baseball. Previous experience as a mascot or entertainer is preferred, but not required.

The TinCaps are also hiring for a variety of seasonal, part-time positions at Parkview Field. Those interested can apply at TinCapsJobs.com.

Season tickets and group outings are currently on sale, while tickets to single games will go on sale in mid-February (date to be announced soon).

Thanks in part to Johnny TinCap, Parkview Field has been rated by Stadium Journey as the No. 1 game-day experience for fans out of all 120 Minor League Baseball ballparks, including in 2021.

HomePlate Catering & Hospitality Is Offering Concessions Fundraising Program

Bridgewater, New Jersey- HomePlate Catering & Hospitality, the concessions partner of the Somerset Patriots, is once again offering a program for local non-profit organizations to work at TD Bank Ballpark during the 2022 season to raise money for their charities.

HomePlate Catering & Hospitality is looking for four to 40 people per group to run the two large concessions or various portable carts during the 69 Patriots home games this season. The season begins on Tuesday, April 12th and will run through Sunday, September 18th with a chance of additional playoff games and events.

The organizations will earn a percentage of the revenue at each location worked with bonus incentive programs available.

The concessions fundraising program has been successful for many non-profit organizations including school sports and clubs, high school project graduations, little leagues, religious groups, and more.

HomePlate Catering & Hospitality is asking for a three event minimum for interested organizations.

Isotopes Annual Job Fair Goes Online

The Albuquerque Isotopes, along with Spectra Hospitality, are currently accepting applications for dozens of jobs that are available for the upcoming season. These positions are the seasonal, game day opportunities needed to operate New Mexico’s premier family entertainment venue for approximately 100 Isotopes games, soccer matches and other events at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

The application process will be done exclusively online this year, with specific instructions available on the Isotopes’ website.

The Isotopes and Spectra, the stadium food services provider, will be accepting applications for a variety of exciting positions. The following openings will be available:
