5th Annual Lancaster JetHawks Fundraising Workshop
Come join the Lancaster JetHawks’ for our 5th annual fundraising workshop on March 10th, 2020 from 12pm-1pm. Learn how the JetHawks can help you raise awareness and funds for your organization, while also throwing a fun event for your supporters at the ballpark!

The JetHawks Fundraising Workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at The Hangar, located at 45116 Valley Central Way in Lancaster. It will be from 12:00-1:00 in the JetHawks Party Suite. At the Workshop, you’ll hear from the JetHawks, as well as local non-profits who have found success partnering with the JetHawks, enjoy complimentary lunch, and have the opportunity to talk with a JetHawks representative about your organization. Plus, one lucky attendee will win $300 towards their group event!

The JetHawks partnered with over 150 local non-profits in 2019, and we want to show you why! Join us at the ballpark to talk about baseball, fundraising and how we can help you grow your organization in 2020!

JetHawks Hot Stove Banquet Sold Out

January 20, 2020

Lancaster, CA – The Lancaster JetHawks are excited to announce that the JetHawks Baseball Foundation’s Hot Stove Banquet has sold out for the fourth consecutive year. The Hot Stove Banquet, sponsored by Learn4Life, will be hosted on January 23rd at the University of Antelope Valley Grand Ballroom. There will be a Q&A, live music from Rat Pack Ricky, a silent auction with great items, delicious dinner, and more. Doors open at 5:30 for cocktail hour, with the program beginning at 6:35.

Ramón Vázquez, former JetHawks player, manager and coach, and current Boston Red Sox coach, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Joining Vázquez will be Colorado Rockies prospect, 2017 JetHawks player, and Santa Clarita native Brian Mundell. Both will dive in to more detail about their careers, their teams, and their time with the JetHawks.

Proceeds from the Hot Stove Banquet and the Silent Auction will benefit the JetHawks Baseball League, which in partnership with the Antelope Valley Boys & Girls Clubs will provides over 150 local youth with the opportunity to play baseball on a team right here at The Hangar each summer. The youth are outfitted with jerseys, gloves, hats and helmets, play their games on the same field as the JetHawks, all at no cost to themselves or their families.

The JetHawks 2020 season kicks off on April 9, 2020 against the San Jose Giants. Season tickets and Hawks Packs, as well as group options, are available now by calling the JetHawks offices at 661-726-5400 or visiting jethawks.com.

JetHawks Announce 2019 Holiday Caravan

Lancaster, CA – The Lancaster JetHawks, High-A California League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, are excited to announce plans for this year’s JetHawks Holiday Caravan. Each year the Holiday Caravan gets bigger as the JetHawks organization continues its efforts to support the needs of the Antelope Valley, and this year will be our biggest year yet!

The Caravan will kick off this evening at the Antelope Valley YMCA Gobble Wobble Fun Run, and continues tomorrow at the YMCA 5k/10k Turkey Trot. The JetHawks are proud to be a presenting sponsor of the Gobble Wobble Fun Run, and also share that AVTA’s Stuff-A-Bus will be at the location both days for you to donate toys for local children in need.

“Being involved in the community is something our organization focuses on year round,” stated JetHawks Executive Vice-President Tom Backemeyer. “The Holiday Caravan is just a small part of how our organization tries to give back to our community each year, and we constantly want to ensure that it is growing.”

The Caravan will continue throughout the Holiday Season with the JetHawks visiting several different organizations in the community. Along the way, the team will be handing out toys to kids, donated by the Flight Crew Booster Club, and delivering Holiday cheer throughout the Antelope Valley. California League Baseball Teams Unite to Assist With Fire Relief Efforts

Oxnard, CA – As California begins it’s slow recovery process after some of the most deadliest & destructive fires in California history, the baseball teams of the California League have decided to step up to the plate and do their part for the relief efforts.

The California League boasts eight teams located throughout the state: San Jose, Stockton, Modesto, Visalia, Lancaster, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, and Lake Elsinore. Each team will be producing their own logoed cap with a firefighter theme, created by Cotapaxi, a custom design and manufacturing corporation located in San Diego. These custom caps will only be available for a limited time from each team & can be purchased for $20. Net proceeds from these sales will be donated to support the disaster relief efforts as we enter this holiday season.

“Minor League Baseball is all about being involved with our local communities. These fires have affected everyone in the state, and we all want to do our part to help out as much as we can” stated California League President, Charlie Blaney.

Eight Minor League Baseball Teams Selling Firefighting Themed Caps

About the Visalia Rawhide

JetHawks Foundation to Host Inaugural Hot Stove Banquet

Lancaster, CA – The Lancaster JetHawks, High-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, are pleased to announce their first ever Hot Stove Banquet, benefitting the Lancaster JetHawks Baseball Foundation. The Banquet will be held on Thursday, January 26th at the University of Antelope Valley Grand Ballroom, starting with a cocktail reception and silent auction from 5:00-6:30, followed by a program and dinner at 6:30. The program will be baseball themed, featuring a baseball guest speaker who will be announced in the coming weeks.

Proceeds from the Banquet and the Silent Auction will benefit the newly formed JetHawks Baseball League, which in partnership with the Antelope Valley Boys & Girls Clubs will provide over 100 local youth with the opportunity to play baseball on a team right here at The Hangar. The youth will be outfitted with jerseys, gloves, hats and helmets, play their games on the same field as the JetHawks, all at no cost to themselves or their families.
