Durham Bulls to Host Seasonal Job Fair

The Durham Bulls, in conjunction with Headway Workforce Solutions, will host their annual Job Fair on Saturday, January 25 to fill part-time game day positions for the 2020 season. The fair is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the PNC Triangle Club at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Interviews will be held that day for seasonal, part-time positions available in game entertainment, stadium operations, sports turf, retail, seating bowl hosting, picnic area hosting and ticket operations.

Bull City Hospitality – the team’s Food and Beverage company – will also be conducting interviews that day, aiming to fill a number of concession stand positions including managers, stand attendants, catering staff, cooks, bartenders and more.

Applicants should be energetic, friendly and dependable, and look forward to contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Shuckers To Host Job Fair On January 28 at MGM Park

The Biloxi Shuckers will host their sixth annual job fair on Tuesday, January 28 at MGM Park in the home clubhouse from 4-7 pm. The Shuckers are looking for qualified, hardworking candidates, with an emphasis on customer service skills who want to help provide fun, family entertainment for our guests. Spectra Food Services, the official concessionaire of MGM Park, will also be conducting interviews.

A variety of seasonal positions are available and vary based upon skill set. The Shuckers are seeking staff that can work all home games and additional events as needed at MGM Park. Most games are held in the evening hours during the week and weekend. Candidates must be able to accommodate the schedule, stand for long periods of time and must be able to work outdoors.

Interviews will be conducted on a first-come, first serve basis. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress for a job interview. Applicants that arrive prior to 7:00 pm will be guaranteed an interview.

Job Fairs Scheduled for Seasonal Game Day and Concessions Positions

Positions available for Pirates Spring Training and the Bradenton Marauders’ season

Bradenton, Fl. – The Pittsburgh Pirates will hold two (2) job fairs at LECOM Park to hire seasonal staff for Pirates Spring Training and the Bradenton Marauders’ season. Game day staff and concessions positions are available. Interviews will be conducted on the spot at both hiring events.

The first hiring event will be held on Thursday, January 9 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The second will be held on Tuesday, January 14 from 1 p.m. -7 p.m. LECOM Park is located at 1611 9th Street West in Bradenton. Parking will be available in the gated lot along 17th Avenue West.

Part-time positions available for 2020 season

GRAND CHUTE, WI – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are in search of energetic and responsible people for part-time employment for the 2020 season. Applications may be picked up during regular business hours (Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm) at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium or on the team’s website.

There are openings in all departments, but the team is in special need of ushers, food & beverage workers, parking attendants, and ticket office and Snake Pit Team Store personnel. The Timber Rattlers are particularly interested in people who can begin in April. Applicants must turn 16 years of age on or before April 8, 2020.

Greenville, SC – The Greenville Drive will be hosting a Game Day Staff Job Fair at Fluor Field on Saturday, January 25th beginning at 9:00 AM.

The Drive will be making seasonal hires in three departments for the 2019 season at Fluor Field: Food and Beverage, Game Operations and Grounds Crew.

All interested parties can arrive beginning at 9:00 AM when the Main Street gates will open. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to sustain energy throughout a Drive game. Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation. Height Requirements: 5’9″ to 6’2″ to fit into the costume. You must be a highly skilled performer with a great ability to improvise and animate. Previous experience as an animator, character, mascot or interactive entertainer is a plus. Seeking people in good physical condition with skills in dancing, tumbling, gymnastics or acrobatics. Must be good with children and be an outgoing people person.

Position requires five months of 70 home games to attend, from April through September. You will have a preset schedule of game dates and times. Most games are in the evening and dates will include weekends. Please note our mascot performs outside in summer months and must take into consideration the likelihood for high temperatures. Additional appearance requests will be all calendar year. Compensation is on a per game basis and will be paid bi-weekly.

Those interested in auditioning will be required to have a 30 second to minute long performance/sketch prepared. This performance is at the discretion of the performer and must be appropriate for a family audience. We suggest you incorporate skits, your dancing abilities, and how you would interact with fans of any age. Tryouts will be on the dugout top. Please arrive between 9:45 to 10:25am. We will audition all candidates until all have had opportunity.

Please wear athletic/workout attire. Bring your ID and registration form.
 If you are unable to attend tryouts, we will be accepting audition videos until February 16th. Audition video should include a 30 second to minute long performance/sketch and should be sent to [email protected]. Include a little about yourself and why you should be the iconic Reedy Rip’It!

Save the Date – BlueClaws Job Fair on January 18th

LAKEWOOD, NJ – The BlueClaws will be holding their annual Job Fair on Saturday, January 18th from 9 am until 1 pm at FirstEnergy Park. The team will interview for all part-time, seasonal positions that run from April through the team’s last home game.

“Our operation relies heavily on our gameday staff, and we have been fortunate to have such outstanding gameday employees over the years,” said Kevin Fenstermacher, BlueClaws Vice President of Events & Operations. “We look forward to another great turnout at our Job Fair as we find even more future BlueClaws Gameday Staff stars!”

You’re Hired: RailRiders holding two job fairs

MOOSIC, PA (December 19, 2019) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders are holding two job fairs in January to hire seasonal employees for the upcoming 2020 season at PNC Field. The RailRiders will host the Keystone Mid Summer Classic next summer, featuring the 2020 Triple-A All-Star Game presented by the Lackawanna County Visitor’s Bureau, and are seeking energetic and dedicated personnel for the upcoming season.

The first job fair is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 10 A.M until noon. A second will be held on Wednesday, January 22, from 6 to 8 P.M. Those interested in seasonal employment only need to attend one of the two events to be considered. Potential employees will fill out applications and the front office staff will do interviews on the spot during the job fair. Both job fairs will be held in the Geisinger Champions Club at PNC Field.

“The game day staff is a key part of our fan experience at PNC Field,” said Katie Beekman, the RailRiders General Manager. “From the moment you arrive until the time you leave this great ballpark, it is the responsibility of our game day employees to make sure our fans are enjoying the game. We need individuals who will take pride in what we do every game.”

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is looking for game day employees to fill a variety of roles within the organization. The game day staff includes bat boys/ girls, club level attendants, custodians, grounds crew, parking attendants, security staff, ticket sales representatives, ticket takers, ushers and video/ production assistants. The team is also looking for members of the Pinstripe Patrol, the on-field promotions crew, as well as fun zone employees and performers to serve as the team’s mascot during games. Legends, the official catering, concessions and merchandise provider of the RailRiders, will also conduct interviews on January 18 and 22. In addition, Legends will hire prep cooks, grill cooks, food vendors, general kitchen help, suite attendants, retail associates and interns. Most Legends positions start at $10 per hour and candidates must be 18 or older.

The 2020 season opens on April 9 against the Buffalo Bisons at PNC Field. The Keystone Mid Summer Classic takes place at PNC Field in July with the 2020 Triple-A All-Star Game presented by the Lackawanna County Visitor’s Bureau at 7:05 P.M. on July 15.
