Fireflies to Host Job Fair January 11

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Columbia Fireflies today announced they will be hosting a job fair to hire for 2020 seasonal positions. All positions will be game day positions. The job fair will take place at Segra Park on Saturday, January 11 beginning at 10am and running until 12:30pm.

Sounds to Host Job Fair for GLOW Nashville on Monday, October 28 at First Tennessee Park

The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club will host a job fair for part-time employment in preparation for the must-see holiday attraction GLOW Nashville on Monday, October 28 at First Tennessee Park.

The Sounds and Centerplate, the team’s food and beverage provider, will combine to hire approximately 150 employees to operate Nashville’s brightest Christmas experience from November 22 through December 31.

Positions to be hired include guest relations, ticketing, concessions cooks, dishwashers, cashiers, catering and bartenders (must have TABC Server Permit). Age requirements vary from 16 to 18 depending on the position.

Boise Hawks 2019 Seasonal Job Fair Announced

BOISE, ID: The Boise Hawks, Single-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, have announced the date of their annual seasonal job fair for the 2019 season on Saturday, April 27th from 10 AM to 1 PM at Memorial Stadium.

The Hawks are in search of dedicated and reliable personnel to join their game day staff for the upcoming season. They are looking for a variety of skill sets and personalities, but most importantly, they are looking for individuals who can contribute to the positive experience of their loyal fans and guests.

There are thirty-eight (38) home games at Memorial Stadium. Position hours differ, but range from 1 PM to 10:30 PM. Operating hours are dependent on game duration, which can vary. The Job Fair will consist of standard applicant paperwork and brief personal interviews with Boise Hawks Management. All applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

The Hawks are looking to fill the following (but not limited to) positions: ticket takers, ushers, cooks, servers, food runners, hawkers and promotional support team members. The Boise Hawks will be hiring on the spot so all applicants are encouraged to bring an ID and social security card.

Tigers and Delaware North to Host Job Fair Jan 5

Delaware North and the Detroit Tigers are hosting a job fair on Saturday, January 5 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Seasonal and part-time jobs are available in retail, concessions, ushering, and box office for the Detroit Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers seasons. Available positions include supervisors, dishwashers, cooks, suite attendants, bartenders, bar backs, warehouse, retail operations, box office administrator, usher, and more.

Help Wanted: Two job fairs set in January

December 19, 2018

MOOSIC, PA (December 19, 2018) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders will host two job fairs in January to hire seasonal employees for the upcoming 2019 season at PNC Field. The club is celebrating 30 years of professional baseball in Northeast Pennsylvania and is looking for energetic and dedicated personnel for 70 home games plus additional events during the new calendar year.

The first job fair is on Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 10 A.M until noon. A second will be held on Wednesday, January 16, from 6 to 8 P.M. Those interested in seasonal employment only need to attend one of the two events to be considered. Potential employees will fill out applications and the front office staff will do interviews on the spot during the job fair.

“Our game day staff is vital to what we accomplish at PNC Field,” stated Josh Olerud, the RailRiders President and General Manager. “We are working on bringing a ‘Fan First Philosophy’ to one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s premier experiences. We need individuals who will take pride in what we do every game.”

The RailRiders are looking for game day employees to fill a variety of roles within the organization. The game day staff includes bat boys/ girls, club level attendants, EMTs, grounds crew, parking attendants, porters, security staff, ticket sales representatives, ticket takers, ushers and video/ production assistants. The team is also looking for members of the Pinstripe Patrol, the on-field promotions crew, as well as fun zone employees and performers to serve as the team’s mascot during games.

Legends, the official catering, concessions and merchandise provider of the RailRiders, will also conduct interviews during each job fair. Legends is seeking concession stand managers, workers and cashiers. In addition, Legends will hire prep and grill cooks, food vendors, general kitchen help, suite attendants and retail associates.

Interviews for internships will not be conducted during the two RailRiders job fairs. More information regarding internships will be available in January.

Drive Hosting Job Fair at Fluor Field on January 12th

Greenville, SC – The Greenville Drive will be hosting a Game Day Staff Job Fair at Fluor Field on Saturday, January 12th beginning at 9:00 AM.

The Drive will be making seasonal hires in five departments for the 2019 season at Fluor Field: Box Office, Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Game Operations and Grounds Crew.

All interested parties can arrive beginning at 9:00 AM when the Main Street gates will open. They will be directed to the Champions Club on the suite level, where Drive representatives will be on hand to provide candidates with an application for their preferred department. Once the application has been completed, each candidate will be directed to a suite for an interview in their department.

Following the interview, the Drive will reach out to each candidate with more information if they are selected to be a member of the 2019 Game Day Staff.

RubberDucks to Host 2019 Internship Fair on Jan. 5

The Akron RubberDucks announced today it will be holding its 2019 Internship Fair on Saturday, Jan. 5 at Canal Park starting at 10 a.m.

Positions for the 70 home games during the 2019 season include: community relations, corporate partnerships, field operations/groundkeeper, finance, food & beverage, graphic design, hospitality & special events, in-game entertainment/production, media and public relations, merchandise, promotions & marketing, stadium operations, and ticket operations.

Interested candidates are asked to arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. at Canal Park’s administrative office entrance on S. Main St. The Internship Fair will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with an introduction of the RubberDucks’ full-time staff, followed by a chance for candidates to interview with the various departments.

Interested candidates can come for the open-interview period or can setup a pre-scheduled interview. Candidates should bring his or her resume and any references. Tortugas Announce Veterans Job Fair

DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The Daytona Tortugas are pleased to announce their first Veterans Job Fair, which will take place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark as part of Memorial Day Weekend. The job fair is the first of it’s kind for Minor League Baseball.

The job fair is designed for local Veterans who are searching for a new job, career change, or just a chance to get back on their feet.

The Tortugas have partnered with CareerSource Volusia Flagler for the event, which will be held on Friday, May 25th, from 5:30-7:30 PM during Daytona’s Military Appreciation Weekend.

The jobs will range from entry-level positions to post-grad degree required positions. Any Veteran interested in attending is asked to enter at the East Gate of The Jack (by the tennis courts) to check in, and to bring plenty of resumes with them.

All attendees of the Veteran’s Job Fair will receive a free ticket to the Tortugas game, courtesy of Budweiser.

JOHNSON CITY CARDINALS TO HOST JOB FAIR

JOHNSON CITY- The Cardinals have announced that they will be hosting their annual job fair on Friday, April 27 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The job fair will take place at the Senior Center – 510 Bert Street, Johnson City TN 37601.

The job fair will have 15 different categories of part-time, seasonal positions available within the Cardinals organization. Among the jobs that will be displayed are: press box positions, mascot, on-field crew, ticket taker, group area/picnic attendant, stadium hawker, concession stand worker, concession stand manager, concession stand runner, bartender, cook, game day porter, kids zone operator, retail store associate, and usher.

Most TVA Credit Union Ballpark positions require a person to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as run, sit, navigate stairs, kneel or crouch. Prospective employees may also be asked to occasionally lift and/or move up to approximately 25 pounds and be exposed to various weather conditions and noise levels.

Potential employees will be asked to fill out their top three job choices on their interview questionnaire, which will be provided at the job fair. All persons seeking employment may not be able to work in their area of choice, as jobs will be offered by strength of application and/or resume.

Charleston RiverDogs Partner with Palmetto Goodwill & GoodPeople Staffing for Jobs at The Joe Hire Me! Events

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston RiverDogs, in partnership with Palmetto Goodwill’s new line of business, GoodPeople Staffing, will host two Jobs at The Joe Hire Me! events to fill ballpark gameday positions for the 2018 season: a food & beverage only job event on Saturday, February 10 and a general job fair for all positions on Saturday, March 3, both at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

The RiverDogs are seeking qualified candidates for positions ranging from cashiers to ushers, merchandise employees to mascots, and more. Those interested in positions in food and beverage are encouraged to attend one of the two hiring events.

Job Fair and Ticketpalooza set for Saturday, February 24th

(Reading, PA) – The Reading Fightin Phils will be hosting their annual job fair for game-day staffing on Saturday, February 24th at FirstEnergy Stadium. New prospective employees are welcome to interview for open positions from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

The Fightin Phils are seeking individuals for part-time roles such as:

  • Concessions
  • Dugout Suite Waiters/Waitresses
  • Mascot Performers
  • Security
  • Clean Team
  • Phunland Kids Area

Prospective employees should be expected to work both weeknights and weekends from April to early September. Minimum age and compensation vary by position. The National Anthem event will also serve as the official tryout to fill any available dates during the 2018 season. All performers who would like to perform the National Anthem in 2018 are recommended to audition on February 24th. One person will be selected to perform the National Anthem at the 222 Showcase on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:35 p.m.

Fans can also sign up for the Ceremonial Flag presented by Savage 61 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. All active military and veterans, both living and that have passed, are honored at each home game during a pre-game ceremony beside their family and friends. During the ceremony, the Fightins will tell each story and explain that the American Flag flying in front of America’s Classic Ballpark, FirstEnergy Stadium, for that game is in honor of that specific person. Following the game, the Fightins will present the veteran or military member with the Ceremonial Flag as a taken of appreciation for that they have done in protection of the United States of America.

In addition to being honored, the veteran or military member will also receive complimentary tickets for them and their family thanks to Savage61 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Available game dates are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

America’s Classic Ballpark is proud to be a part of Pennsylvania’s Americana Region.
