Cardinals to host job fair January 27 at Hammons Field

The Springfield Cardinals will host a job fair on Thursday, Jan. 27 to fill seasonal part-time gameday positions for the 2022 season. The fair will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Hammons Field Indoor Training Facility.

To help protect attendees and staff, face coverings worn properly over the nose and mouth will be required for everyone at the job fair. Interviews will not be conducted with anyone failing to wear a face covering. Social distancing measures will also be in effect.

Interviews will be held during the event for seasonal gameday part-time positions available in customer service/game entertainment, sales, ticket operations, press box operations, event staff and field crew. Anyone interested in applying for any position must bring a resume for each position they’d like to apply for. Interviews will be conducted as time permits. Delaware North–the stadium’s Food and Beverage company–will also be conducting interviews on January 27 in the same location, aiming to fill a number of positions, including cooks, concessions stand employees, bartender, suite attendants, dishwasher and porter.

Fireflies Seasonal Job Fair Postponed to January 29

COLUMBIA, SC –The Columbia Fireflies have postponed their seasonal Job Fair, originally schedule for this upcoming Saturday, to next Saturday, January 29 from 10 am to 2 pm at Segra Park. The reason for the postponement is to ensure the safety of all Fireflies staff members and job fair attendees due to the incoming inclement weather forecasted to hit the Midlands this weekend. The Fireflies are looking to fill approximately 300 seasonal and part-time positions at the Job Fair for the upcoming baseball season which kicks off at Segra Park on April 8.

“The safety of our staff, and those attending the job fair, is our top priority which is why we have decided to postpone the event,” said Team President Brad Shank. “Our game day team is such an important part of providing our fans with a fantastic experience at Segra Park and we cannot wait to meet all potential new Fireflies team members at the Job Fair January 29.”

The Fireflies will be hiring for positions in the following departments:

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Studer Family of Companies will host their annual Job Fair on Tuesday, January 25 to hire seasonal staff for the 2022 Blue Wahoos baseball season as well as positions within the Studer Family of Companies. M-Braves to host Job Fair on Saturday, January 29

PEARL – The Mississippi Braves will hold a job fair for part-time/seasonal positions for the 2022 season on Saturday, January 29, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The job fair will take place inside Trustmark Park’s Farm Bureau Grill. M-Braves staff members will conduct open interviews on a first-come, first-serve basis for seasonal, part-time positions.

Part-time Positions Available for 2022 Timber Rattlers Season

GRAND CHUTE, WI – There are less than 90 days until Opening Night for the 2022 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season and the team needs your help to provide a fun atmosphere during events at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

Part-time, game day positions are available for energetic and responsible people during the upcoming season. Applications are available at the business office Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm or on the team’s website.

There are openings in all departments, but the team is in special need of ushers, food & beverage workers, parking attendants, and ticket office and Snake Pit Team Store personnel. The Timber Rattlers are particularly interested in people who can begin in April. Applicants must turn 16 years of age on or before April 8, 2022.

Join the Drive Team for the 2022 Season

Want to work at one of the best ballparks in all of Minor League Baseball? Now you can! With Opening Day at Fluor Field scheduled for Friday, April 8th, as well as college and high school games, and hundreds of events, the Greenville Drive and West End Events at Fluor Field are hiring game day and seasonal team members for 2022.

The Drive and West End Events will be hosting a pair of upcoming Job Fairs – Wednesday, February 9th from 5:30 to 7:30, and Saturday, February 19th from 10 AM to 1 PM. Entrance for the Job Fair will be through the Main Street Gate at Fluor Field.

Those wishing to attend either of the dates are highly encouraged to pre-register by CLICKING HERE.

By pre-registering, you’ll get to skip the waiting line and interview with a Drive or West End Events front office staff member immediately upon checking in. All interested applicants must be at least 16-years-of-age.

  • This is a new position for the 2022 season, in conjunction with the installation of pitch clocks, MiLB-wide. Close attention must be paid to the baseball game, with proper signaling with the umpires with regards to pitch clock operation.
  • Game Photographers
  • Tasked with capturing pre-game and in-game action shots of players and coaches, as well as photos of fans and partnership fulfillments as assigned. Photography experience and owning photography equipment is a must.
  • Bat Boy/Girl
  • This position works in the home and visiting dugouts pre-game, in-game and post-game. Must be able to retrieve bats and various equipment for both teams during games. Will assist in setup of both dugouts pre-game with water, Gatorade, etc., and assist with post-game clean-up of both dugouts.
  • Merchandise
  • Game Day Sales
  • Assist in game day operations at the Drive retail locations – Main Street Store, 3rd Base Store, 1st Base Kiosk. This includes setting up for each game, restocking product, cleaning and organizing retail locations and displays, and assisting all customers at point-of-sale.
  • Ground Crew
  • Game Day Members
  • Assist the Head Groundskeeper with pre- and post-game duties. The job entails physical labor with responsibilities that include – but limited to – dragging the infield, repairing the mound, home plate, and bullpen areas, and pulling the tarp during rain delays.

  • Will assist in different concession areas and stands with the preparation of food items. This will include stocking and inventory, serving orders, running cash registers as needed, and stand opening/closing procedures

  • Understanding of HACCP and DHEC food principles, previous cash handling experience, ability to multitask, make good decisions, good communication with employees, volunteer groups and fans
  • Prep Cooks
  • Cook food for designated areas according stand sheets, game attendance projections; perform opening and closing procedures for cooking equipment in designated stands; utilize HACCP and DHEC hot and cold holding principles for all food
  • Bartenders
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for designated bar area, serve drinks, cash handling, pre and post game cleaning of designated bar (tipped position)
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Team members are not expected to work all Drive and amateur games, and West End Events. The Drive are flexible with scheduling. Parkview Field has perennially been rated as Minor League Baseball’s No. 1 ballpark for game-day experience, thanks in large part to the fan-first customer service provided by team members.

The TinCaps, who were promoted as a franchise to be the High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres in 2021, open their season at Parkview Field on April 12 against the South Bend Cubs. That’s the first of 66 home games for the ’Caps, whose final game of the season at Parkview Field is scheduled for September 4.

Team members aren’t expected to be available to work all 66 games. The TinCaps are flexible with scheduling. More than half of the full-time TinCaps staff began working for the organization as either a part-time, seasonal employee or intern before earning a promotion.

Trash Pandas To Host Job Fair On February 19

In preparation for the second season in franchise history in 2022, the Rocket City Trash Pandas will be hosting a job fair at Toyota Field on Saturday, February 19 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Trash Pandas are currently seeking candidates with strong energy, passion, and enthusiasm to work at Trash Pandas home games at Toyota Field to help create the best fan experience in professional baseball. Positions are available across many departments including ushers, ticket takers, promotions, production, parking, security, food and beverage, retail, and many more!

Interested candidates must be at least 16 years of age with legal work status. During the job fair, applicants will be able to interview for a maximum of three (3) positions. Each interview will take about 5-10 minutes. Individuals who might not be hired for one of their top three positions, may be offered a role in a different department.

All applicants MUST have a completed job application prior to being interviewed. Now Accepting Internship Applications for the 2022 Season

The Columbus Clippers offer internships during the baseball season. We will be interviewing qualified candidates for the 2022 season starting in January 2022. You may submit your cover letter and resume, starting on November 8, 2021, to the attention of Scott Ziegler. Please have all resumes in by January 5, 2022. They may be mailed, or emailed to the address listed below.

The internships will begin January 2022 and run through the end of the season. Selected candidates will be required to work a minimum of six office hours per week from late January through March. In addition, there will be occasional weekend club related functions. Once the regular season begins our interns will be required to work all home games and arrive at the stadium about 3 hours before the gates open. Internships are structured on a rotating basis whereas the intern will spend time within all departments of the organization. This may include Marketing, Promotions, Community Relations, Fan Development, Sales, Tickets, Media Relations and Stadium Operations.

All internship positions will be unpaid until the actual games begin and then there will be an hourly rate paid. We do not provide housing. Parking is provided free of charge at the ballpark and we will also provide a meal during the games. We strictly enforce organizational policies and reserve the right to terminate internships should there be disregard for this policy.

We will interview candidates whose credentials, experience, and interests best suit the needs of the available internship positions.

To be considered for an internship, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.

Mets Job Fair coming January 15th

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The St. Lucie Mets will host their annual Job Fair for New York Mets spring training and the St. Lucie Mets season on Saturday, January 15th at Clover Park.

The Job Fair, which features several game day positions, will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the conference room just to the left of the Box Office. Positions of need are security for open workouts and stadium, gate checkers, camera operators and more.
