DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Daytona Tortugas are launching a virtual search for National Anthem performers for the 2021 season.
In lieu of in-person auditions this year, all interested singers, vocal groups and musicians should enter a digital submission (video or audio) here. Candidates who have been chosen from the virtual auditions will be contacted to schedule a date to perform the National Anthem.
The Daytona Tortugas open the 2021 season on Tuesday, May 4 at the Palm Beach Cardinals (STL). Opening Night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark is set for Tuesday, May 11 vs. the St. Lucie Mets (NYM).

West Sacramento, Calif. – The Sacramento River Cats are now accepting national anthem video submissions for the 2021 season. If selected, artists will have their rendition aired on the Sutter Health Park video board during pregame ceremonies of a River Cats home game.
The Couch Oil Cares Scholarship Program was established in 2015 in an effort to help defray the rising costs of higher education. Again this year, Couch Oil Company is teaming up with the Durham Bulls to award scholarships to six deserving students. This $1,000 scholarship is available to students who have been accepted into either a four-year or community college and reside in a 16-county area surrounding the Triangle.

The Akron RubberDucks are searching for performers to play the four mascots, Webster, Rubberta, Homer, and Orbit during RubberDucks home games for the 2021 season.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Fireflies today announced that fans can now audition to perform the National Anthem for Fireflies regular season home games in 2021. The Fireflies are seeking soloists and groups of all ages to perform the Anthem.

The Amarillo Sod Poodles will be hosting public auditions for National Anthem performances for the team’s 2021 season on Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at HODGETOWN. Soloists, duets, and trios are invited to audition “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” for a chance to perform during the 2021 season.
SOUTH BEND, IN – The South Bend Cubs are now accepting auditions to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Four Winds Field for the 2021 season. Individuals as well as choirs, groups, and bands are invited to participate.
The Winston-Salem Dash and Truist are bringing Truist Stadium’s delicious frozen treat, ice cream, to a local neighborhood. Dash staff and team mascot BOLT will deliver free ice cream from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7.


Chasers Charities, the charitable arm of the Omaha Storm Chasers, is proud to announce the 14th annual Jackie Robinson Athletic Scholarship contest presented by The Weitz Company. The program honors two local African-American students in an effort to commemorate the baseball legend that broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier in 1947.
Through the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation, C’s Co-Owner Jeff Mooney and wife Suzanne Bolton have committed to providing scholarships to members of the Boys and Girls Clubs or South Coast BC who were in either Grade 11 or 12 could step forward and apply for post-secondary grants that could reach up-to-$15,000.
