Timber Rattlers Job Fair to Be Held on February 24

GRAND CHUTE, WI – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are looking for you to join their team! The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will host a Job Fair for prospective game day employees for the 2020 season on Monday, February 24 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The event will be held in the Fox Communities Credit Union Fox Club at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

The Timber Rattlers will be accepting applications and conducting on-site interviews for part-time, seasonal, game day positions during the job fair. Here is a complete listing of jobs available this season:

Stadium Operations and Customer Service Game Day/Evening Positions:

Custodial Crew – Responsible for cleaning the stadium following games, special events, banquets, etc. and as needed throughout the stadium.

Snake Pit Team Store – The Timber Rattlers merchandise store is in need of helpful workers.

Security – Responsible for fan safety. Must be over 21, with some experience.

Ticket Sellers – Prepare and sell all game day and advance tickets via phone, mail, and window with an emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and service. Responsible for all accounting of ticket inventory, including coupons, vouchers and promotional tickets. Computer literate due to ticketing software.

Ticket Takers – Scan tickets and welcome fans as they enter the ballpark.

Ushers – Responsibilities include pre-game prep, greeting and assisting fans to their seats, watch crowd for problems or injuries during game, assist fans safely out at the end of the game.

Concessions Game Day/Evening Positions:

Kitchen managers, Cooks & Kitchen Staff – Primary responsibilities include planning, preparation and cooking of meals for baseball games, banquet events and special events. A basic understanding of the food service industry is preferred but not necessary. These individuals will need to be available for both day and night baseball games during the week and weekends so a flexible schedule is important. Availability starting in April.

Servers – Looking for those who are interested working PM’s and weekends but availability during the daytime is a plus. Must be 18, with some server experience. Completion of liquor license course a plus but not required. Availability starting in April.

Bartenders – Flexible with hours, but primarily looking for those who are interested working PM’s and weekends. Availability during the daytime is a plus. Must be 18, experience preferred but not required. Must complete liquor license course in order to sell beer. Availability starting in April.

Hawkers – Must be able to carry 50+ lbs. up and down stairs. Looking for workers 18 years of age and older, but exceptions may be made. Must complete liquor license course to sell beer. Availability starting in April.

Picnic Staff – Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. with help of others on staff. Looking for workers 18 years of age and older, but exceptions may be made. Availability starting in April.

Picnic Lead – Individual must be able to successfully run picnics throughout the stadium. Food & beverage experience required along with understanding of buffets. Must be available majority of games throughout the season. Availability starting in April.

Concession Stand Server – Responsible for the distribution of food and beverage out of concession or kiosks. Must be able to work day games, must be 18 or older.

Concession Stand Register Operator – Primary responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, cash handling, and customer interaction. Must be able to work day games, doesn’t necessarily need to be over 18, and should be comfortable on computers.

Concession Stand Runner – Individuals are required to keep food and beverage product replenished during baseball games. Required to lift half barrels (161lbs) on occasion. The job also includes frequent walking and standing for extended periods of time.

All concession positions are primarily nights/weekends but have 1st shift hours available occasionally.

In addition, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers banquet facility is looking for year-round, part-time employees in the following areas:

Bartenders – Day availability (at least one with lead bartender potential)- immediate start

Runners – Frequent walking and standing for extended periods of time, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds – immediate start

Dishwashers – Mostly summer hours

Servers – Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events, assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events and maintain back of house, front of house, and side work duties for productivity of banquet events – summer hours

The Generals Are Hiring For The 2020 Season!

JACKSON, TN – The Jackson Generals are in search of seasonal employs for the 2020 season and are hosting a pair of job fairs on Saturday, February 22nd and Saturday, March 7th at The Ballpark at Jackson from 10 am -3 pm. We are looking for hardworking individuals that love spending time at a ball game while providing exceptional customer service and family entertainment.

Positions in all departments of the Generals operation are available, including box office staff, concessions, promotions and more. Candidates should be open to working the majority of the Generals 70 regular season home games, in addition to concert events held at The Ballpark, running from mid-April to early September. (Jan. 28, 2020) – Three local companies will be searching for new employees at a community Job Fair at BB&T Ballpark on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services, Legends Hospitality Management, and the Winston-Salem Dash are looking to add to their teams.

Indianapolis Indians to Hold Open Interviews at Victory Field on Saturday, Feb. 8

INDIANAPOLIS – In preparation for the 2020 season, the Indianapolis Indians today announced that the organization and its concessionaire Aramark will host open interviews at Victory Field on Saturday, Feb. 8. The open interviews will run from 10 AM to 2 PM, with the Indians and Aramark looking to fill many game day and seasonal positions for the 70-game home schedule. The Tribe’s home opener is Thursday, April 9 against Toledo at 7:05 PM.

Game day and seasonal positions open for hire include bat boys/girls, field operations, game operations, guest relations, merchandise, porters, premium hospitality host, production/audio staff, ticket sellers, ticket takers, Tribe Team (game promotion staff) and ushers. Aramark game day positions open for hire include bartenders, concessions supervisors, dishwashers, food prep, grill cooks, kitchen supervisors, servers and utility/warehouse staff. Aramark applications will be posted on Saturday, Feb. 1.

FIRST SMOKIES JOB FAIR OF THE 2020 SEASON

SEVIERVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Smokies have announced that the club will be hosting their first job fair of the 2020 season at Smokies Stadium on Friday, February 7 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. When reporting to the stadium, please enter by The Restaurant located on the left side of the stadium.

The job fair will only feature job positions from food and beverage. Tennessee Smokies are looking for employees who are able to work all home games and additional events as needed inside Smokies Stadium. Most games are held during evening hours of the week and many weekends.

Available departments include new hires for The Restaurant, Smokies Concessions, and Smokies Hospitality Positions.

River Cats to host job fairs January 25 and February 8

West Sacramento, Calif. – The Sacramento River Cats will be hosting their annual job fairs on Saturday, January 25 and on Saturday, February 8 at Sutter Health Park (formerly Raley Field) in West Sacramento. Those interested in working for the River Cats during the 2020 season are encouraged to attend these free events. The River Cats have some 300 part-time and seasonal positions available for the upcoming 2020 baseball season. Keys Announce Date for 2020 Job Fair

FREDERICK, MD -If you are searching for a fun seasonal job, look no farther than the Frederick Keys! The team is holding its annual job fair on Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26. Interviews take place from 5-7 p.m. in the Mattress Warehouse Club on the club level of Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium.

Individuals interested in joining the Keys need to attend the job fair only ONE NIGHT. Interviews are handled on a first-come-first serve basis. There is no limit on how many positions someone can interview for (though bat boys must be 16 and older).

All roles pay an hourly rate. The Keys WILL NOT be interviewing for any full-time positions. In addition to interviews conducted by Keys staff, Spectra representatives will be in attendance to interview candidates for positions in concessions and merchandise. Department heads will contact candidates selected for employment in the weeks following the job fair. Interviewing for an available position does not guarantee employment.

The Keys season begins on Thursday, April 9. A link to the entire schedule for the Keys 2020 season is available here and fireworks shows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday night home games and other select days during the season. Ticket plans are currently available, with plans including the choice of a John Means bobblehead or a Keys pennant. GreenJackets Hiring for 2020 Season

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – The Augusta GreenJackets, Single ‘A’ Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will be hosting two job fairs for 2020 seasonal positions. Applicants interested can attend either event. The GreenJackets are looking for dedicated and reliable personnel with a variety of skill sets and personalities, but most importantly, they are looking for individuals who can provide a positive and fun experience for guests of all ages.

“As we enter year three at SRP Park, we are looking for applicants to join our team and continue to build upon the experience we offer,” stated Vice President, Tom Denlinger. “From the moment fans enter the gates, our game day staff makes an immediate impact offering our fans a memorable experience all year long.”

The first Job Fair will take place Thursday, February 6th at First Baptist Church of North Augusta from 4pm-7pm, and the second will be Saturday, February 8th at SRP Park in the WOW! Club Level from 10am-1pm. Interviews will take place on the spot for the positions below. Everyone interested in applying is encouraged to attend. There are 70 home games at SRP Park and many additional events that take place starting in March and running throughout the year.

NATURALS HOST JOB FAIR ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13

SPRINGDALE, Ark. – The Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Patina Restaurant Group have announced that they’ll be hosting their Gameday Staff Job Fair in the Sam’s Club Community Room of Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, February 13th.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th, the Naturals and Patina Restaurant Group will be taking applications and conducting on-site interviews for part-time, Gameday associates who, if selected, will be instrumental in assisting the front office of the Naturals during the upcoming season. Job applications are currently available on www.nwanaturals.com under the EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES tab found in the FAN ZONE drop down menu.

Both organizations are seeking individuals that, if hired, will continue the tradition of providing top-notch customer service to each and every fan that visits Arvest Ballpark during the season. Applicants that attend the Job Fair are encouraged to interview with both the Naturals and Patina Restaurant Group to increase their potential for hire.

Details of each available position are listed below and additional information regarding these part-time jobs can be obtained by calling (479) 927-4900. People that are unable to make the job fair can stop out at our Administrative Offices at Arvest Ballpark between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to fill out an application.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS NATURALS

Usher

Ushers must be willing to interact with fans and check for correct seat locations on tickets in their section.

Kids Zone Attendant

The Kids Zone area is for kids 12 years and younger. Attendants are responsible for ensuring all children play safely while having fun. This area includes 4 inflatables, kids train, mini-golf course and wiffle ball field.

Parking Attendants

Naturals Parking Attendants are the front line employees of our Gameday Associate Customer Service Team. Parking attendants are asked to process cash transactions and make change as needed.

Program Seller

Responsible for enthusiastically selling the souvenir programs and scorecards. This position requires a loud voice, lots of energy, and good people skills.

Clubhouse Attendant

Responsible for a clean baseball environment for all the players, coaches, and umpires throughout the course of the pre-game, during the game post-game, on the field and in dugouts. Will be responsible for retrieving bats and other equipment, chasing down foul balls, and keeping the umpires furnished with liquids periodically among various other tasks.

Mascot

Engaging, enthusiastic individual that will act out the character of the Naturals mascots “Strike” and “Sinker”. Perform at all (or majority of) home games at Arvest Ballpark and some community appearances, as requested. Must be able to be active for 2-3 hours in costume and have a willingness to show your personality through the characters. Training and a script for each game is provided, and a handler is also assigned to help with crowd control and getting mascots from place to place.

GAMEDAY POSITIONS – BUSINESS DEPARTMENT

Ticket Seller

Responsible for selling tickets on Game days and handling fan issues that should arise. Money handling and customer service experience a plus, but not required. Does require basic familiarity with computer and ability to use our ticket system, ProVenue. This position is normally finished by the second inning of the game

Ticket Scanner

Ticket Scanners are the second interaction a fan has, and should welcome the fans with enthusiasm. All Ticket Scanners will be trained in the use of the hand held scanner and Naturals Policies. Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Bag Checker

Bag Checkers are essential to Arvest Ballpark security. Associates will search and identify objects, food, and/or drink that are not allowed by Naturals & Texas League Policies. Working hand-in-hand with the ticket scanners, bag checkers will help organize the entry lines and answer any fan questions. Checkers will also manage in-game re-entry by checking fans in and out of the ballpark. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Retail Associate

Requires organizational skills, ability to complete sales, and maintain inventory accurately. The ability to multi-task is also important as the retail store may be very busy at times throughout each game. Money handling and customer service experience a plus, but not required.

GAMEDAY POSITIONS – OPERATIONS

Grounds Crew

Gameday grounds crew is needed for majority of the 70 Naturals games along high school games and various other events throughout the season. The duties involve batting practice tear down, cleaning equipment, 5th inning infield drag/dance, and post-game patching. Applicant must be able to lift a minimum 50 pounds, be willing and able to work in various weather conditions. The Naturals grounds crew is very flexible with hours.

Ballpark Operations

Will work directly with the Ballpark Operations staff in the daily activities of the facility. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily maintenance checklists to prepare ballpark for events, assist in fulfilling maintenance requests as they are received from fans, staff, or team, perform checklists during games to ensure facility is being operated and maintained to standards set prior to the season. The operations staff is very flexible with hours.

PATINA RESTAURANT GROUP

Concession Cashiers, Runners and Servers

Serve our fans in a fast and professional manner. Must be friendly, personable and well groomed.

Cooks

Preparing all food to proper temperature and ensuring consistency product. Capable of working at a fast pace.

Suite Attendants

Provide guests with reliable, professional and courteous food and beverage service. Experience in a la carte waiter service preferred.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will return to Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 6:35 p.m. when they host the Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros) on Opening Night of the 2020 season.
