New Mexico Department of Health & Albuquerque Isotopes Offer COVID-19 Vaccinations

Fans receiving their first or second shot will receive 2021 Isotopes tickets

 

The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and the Albuquerque Isotopes have announced a partnership to hold COVID-19 vaccination clinics during the Isotopes six-game homestand beginning today, June 3 and running through Tuesday, June 8.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held on the concourse at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park during each of the six games during the homestand. Fans who want to receive the vaccine can do so from the time the gates open until approximately the fifth inning of each game. Specifically, the schedule is as follows:

The NMDOH will be dispensing the Pfizer vaccine, including the booster, to anyone 12 and older who hasn’t yet received their vaccine. There is no registration required, however fans can schedule an appointment by visiting VaccineNM.org and using the special event code Isotopes3 for June 3, Isotopes4 for June 4, Isotopes for June 5, Isotopes6 for June 6, Isotopes7 for June 7, and Isotopes8 for June 8.

Individuals who receive a shot will be given two (2) Reserved Level ticket vouchers for any remaining 2021 Albuquerque Isotopes game, excluding July 4, based on ticket availability.

Fan vaccinations – like all COVID-19 vaccinations – are free of charge and are being made available on a walk-up basis. Attendees who receive their first COVID-19 vaccination at one of these events can then schedule a follow-up appointment to receive their second vaccination at a later date with any provider.

Blue Wahoos, FDOH-Escambia Partner To Offer Four Vaccine Clinics In June

 

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County, will offer free COVID-19 vaccines to fans at their games on June 5, June 6, June 19, and June 20.

Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will be administered to eligible fans ages 12 and up. Recipients of the Pfizer vaccine will be scheduled to receive their second dose at FDOH-Escambia the week of Monday, June 28. Single-shot Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines will also be available to eligible participants ages 18 and up.

No appointments will be necessary for fans attending the games.

Sea Dogs offering vaccinations to fans attending the June 10th game

 

Portland, Maine (June 3, 2021) – Northern Light Mercy Hospital and the Portland Sea Dogs announced today that they are partnering to offer free COVID-19 vaccines at Hadlock Field on June 10.

Mercy Hospital will administer the vaccinations from 5-7 pm at the June 10 game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Attendees who get vaccinated at the game will receive a food voucher good for a hot dog, water, and Sea Dog biscuit as well as a free ticket to a future game.

Last month, Northern Light Mercy Hospital announced additional COVID-19 vaccination sites as well plans to wind down the mass vaccination clinic it operates at the Portland Expo by June 18. Mercy Hospital now provides COVID-19 vaccinations through primary care, walk-in care, pharmacy, and other locations.

WooSox to offer vaccines for fans during first June homestand

Club teams up with Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center; 50 J&J vaccines will be available at every game this week at Polar Park.

 

WORCESTER, MA – After successfully administering 214 vaccines at Polar Park on Tuesday, May 25, the WooSox today announced they will make vaccines available for fans at Polar Park during the club’s second homestand, their first without COVID-19 capacity restrictions. The program is in partnership with Worcester’s Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center.

“We are proud to be among the first Triple-A teams in the country to offer vaccines for fans during our ballgames,” said WooSox President, Dr. Charles A. Steinberg. “We look forward to continuing to do our part to inspire more people to become vaccinated in the City of Worcester and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

Fans who receive a Johnson & Johnson vaccine at Polar Park will be given a complimentary General Admission ticket to that day’s game, along with a WooSox cap, and must be at least 18 years of age. Staff from the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center will administer the vaccines on the first base concourse at Polar Park on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The City of Worcester has made great strides in getting as many people as possible vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus,” Worcester City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr. said. “This partnership between the Worcester Red Sox and the Edward M. On Tuesday, May 4 the Seattle Mariners became the first Major League team in the country to offer vaccines for their fans during games at T-Mobile Park, and successfully administered 160 shots during their game against the Baltimore Orioles. The WooSox would join the Columbus Clippers among Triple-A clubs administering vaccines to their fans during games.

UMass Memorial Health, the official healthcare provider of the Worcester Red Sox, will have EMTs on site as they do for every WooSox home game to offer any support needed.

Anyone who wishes to be vaccinated at Polar Park will be escorted to the first base concourse by a WooSox Ambassador upon receiving their complimentary General Admission ticket at the Ticket Office. Fans who already have tickets to this week’s slate of games and would like a vaccine can simply check in with the Kennedy Health Center staff members after the gates open. Those who do will receive a General Admission ticket to a future 2021 home game.

ECMC to Administer COVID-19 Vaccine at Sahlen Field

 

Erie County Medical Center Corporation caregivers will staff a pop-up vaccine site outside Sahlen Field prior to the upcoming Toronto Blue Jay games on June 1st and June 2nd. The site will administer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Anyone who gets vaccinated at the site will receive a voucher for a free ticket to a 2022 Buffalo Bisons game and will also be eligible for a Toronto Blue Jays raffle for prizes that include: four tickets to a Blue Jays-Yankees game in Buffalo, three player-autographed baseballs and a player-autographed jersey.

Cutters & UPMC Partner to Offer COVID-19 Vaccinations to Fans

 

UPMC and the Williamsport Crosscutters are partnering to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to fans at Cutters games on Wednesday, June 2 and Saturday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Fans who receive their shot at the ballpark will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and soft drink to enjoy during the game.

“UPMC’s partnership with the Williamsport Crosscutters is a great example of how we are trying to meet people where they are to get vaccinated,” said Heather Stafford, clinical director of Infection Prevention and Control. “These family events are opportunities to reach our younger community members, now that anyone 12 years of age and older have been approved by the FDA for Pfizer vaccination.”

Crosscutters fans will be greeted by UPMC’s mobile bus outside the gate. Fans will have the chance to receive the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine before the game. Those who receive the Pfizer vaccine will be scheduled for their second dose three weeks later at the UPMC vaccination clinic at 2401 Reach Rd., Williamsport.

Cutters Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Gabe Sinicropi stated, “The Crosscutters are delighted to be able to offer this important service to our fans through our Presenting Partner, UPMC. It’s our sincere hope that fans age 12 and over who have yet to be vaccinated take advantage of this special opportunity.”

Fireflies Team Up with Prisma Health on In-Game Vaccination Site

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Columbia Fireflies today announced that they have partnered with Prisma Health to administer COVID-19 vaccinations at Segra Park during the 2021 baseball season.

Fans who wish to be vaccinated can get their first shot at a Fireflies game on Friday, May 28 or Saturday, May 29. The vaccine will be administered inside the ballpark, along the concourse by the Crescent Patio in right field, to all fans wishing to receive the vaccines.

The Pfizer vaccine being deployed by Prisma Health has been approved for all South Carolinians ages 12 and over.

Fans do not need to pre-register to get their first shot; walk-up appointments will be accepted. Vaccines can be administered by Prisma Health clinical staff at any point from the opening of gates on each night until the vaccination site shuts down at the end of the seventh inning.

“This is a great opportunity for fans that may not yet have gotten their vaccination to get theirs in a very unique, festive atmosphere,” said Fireflies team President John Katz. “Our thanks go out to Prisma Health for affording our fans who wish to get a vaccine the opportunity to do so at Segra Park. The Fireflies have chipped in great added benefits – including a free ticket for participating fans to receive their second doses three weeks later.”

Cardinals, Mercy, S-GC Health Department, KY3 offering free COVID-19 vaccines May 18-23 at Hammons Field

 

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Cardinals, Springfield-Greene County Health Department, Mercy Hospital Springfield and KY3 are teaming up to offer free COVID-19 vaccines during Cardinals home games from May 18-23 against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Hammons Field.

Those who pre-register for a vaccine date at Hammons Field will receive a FREE General Admission ticket to that game. Fans already in the stadium who do not pre-register will receive a free General Admission ticket to a future game of their choice. 100 free tickets are available per game. Mount Carmel Health System Vaccine Clinic Returns to Huntington Park May 25-30

 

Columbus, Ohio – After vaccinating more than 200 people during the Columbus Clippers’ home opening series, Mount Carmel Health System and the Clippers are again offering a week-long COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Huntington Park from Tuesday, May 25 to Sunday, May 30.

Fans ages 18 and over can visit the vaccine clinic behind home plate from the time gates open through the end of the third inning to receive the Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine. The J&J vaccine provides full vaccination with a single shot.

MUSC Health to Offer Vaccines at The Joe

 

MUSC Health will offer COVID-19 vaccinations at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park during select Charleston RiverDogs games in the upcoming homestand. Fans will have the opportunity to receive a vaccination from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on each of the remaining Fridays in May.

On May 21 and May 28, the vaccines will be administered under a tent just outside of the ballpark on the walkway located along Fishburne Street. Drive, Prisma Partner on Next COVID-19 Vaccination Event June 1st

 

Consistent with its ongoing “Front Porch Of The Community” focus, the Greenville Drive and Prisma Health will host a series of COVID-19 vaccination events to occur at Fluor Field throughout the Drive’s 2021 season.

After a successful vaccination event on May 6th, the Drive announced today that the next will be as part of the home game on Tuesday, June 1st.

Vaccinations will take place from 6-8pm in the Power Alley hospitality area of Fluor Field, directly inside the Main Street entrance to the stadium. No appointments are needed; vaccinations will be offered on a walk-up basis and administered by officials with Prisma Health. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered free of charge; those 16 years of age or older, needing their first or second dose, will be eligible. For those needing their second dose, it must be a minimum of three weeks since their first dose, but no later than six weeks.

To help encourage participation, all of those that get vaccinated on June 1st at Fluor Field will receive a complimentary ice cream at the Drive’s destination ice cream stand Sweet Caroline’s as well as a complimentary ticket to any remaining 2021 regular season game.

Aces, Community Health Alliance offer free vaccines at Aces games

 

RENO, Nev. – The Reno Aces and Community Health Alliance have announced 17 dates to offer free vaccines at Greater Nevada Field for all attending fans, including Tuesday, May 18, at the Aces’ series finale against the Las Vegas Aviators at 12:05 p.m. PT.

HealthLinc and South Bend Cubs Host COVID-19 Vaccination Day

 

VALPARAISO, IN – HealthLinc and the South Bend Cubs (High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) are teaming up to promote COVID-19 vaccinations to area residents at Four Winds Field on Monday, May 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. HealthLinc will host a table during the Cubs homestand against the Dayton Dragons (Tuesday through Sunday, May 18-23) to assist fans with registration for the vaccine day.

The South Bend Cubs are the Class A-Advanced minor league affiliate of the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. Over the past 33 years, the team has won four Midwest League titles, most recently in 2019, and has captured eight division titles. In 2019, the South Bend Cubs hosted the Midwest League All-Star Game. In June 2017, Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, was voted Best Class A ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest. In 2015 the team was named Ballpark Digest’s Team of the Year and received the John H. Johnson President’s Award, the highest award in minor league baseball. The team is owned and operated by Swing-Batter-Swing, LLC whose principal shareholder is Andrew T. Berlin of Chicago, Ill.

SeaWolves Team with UPMC Hamot to Host Vaccine Clinic

 

The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, have teamed with UPMC Hamot to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic during their game against the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) on Friday, May 14 at UPMC Park. Game time is 6:05 p.m.

Ticket holders (ages 12 & older) can receive a Pfizer vaccine between 4:30-6:30 PM in the new Celebration Cove picnic area, located inside the main gate entry plaza of UPMC Park. No appointment is necessary. Attendees must have a ticket to the game to enter.

Captain’s Club Members can enter UPMC Park Gate #2 at 4:30 PM. UPMC Park’s Main Entry Gate #1 will open at 4:45 PM. Each individual who receives their Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the May 14 game will receive a voucher for a free Smith’s hot dog, chips, and a drink, redeemable at any SeaWolves home game this month. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
