
Hawks Announce Annual Winter Glove Drive
Donate a pair of winter gloves and receive a complimentary ticket to Opening Night
BOISE, ID: The Boise Hawks, the Pioneer Baseball League Southern Division Champions, have announced their annual Winter Glove Drive. For each new pair of winter gloves donated, fans will receive a complimentary General Admission ticket for Opening Night 2022 (Saturday, May 28 vs. Idaho Falls).

Starting on Monday, January 10, fans can donate new winter gloves at the Hawks Front Office, located at Memorial Stadium (5600 N. Glenwood Street). Hawks Front Offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Donations can be made through January 28.

Past events were featured as a banquet and the Detroit Tigers caravan was the highlight. This year’s event will again support local youth baseball and softball, but with a few changes.
SOUTH BEND, IN – The unofficial kickoff to the 2022 season begins with a special cause. The South Bend Cubs are teaming up with Special Olympics Indiana for the 6th Annual South Bend Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 26. Registration is now open, and participants are encouraged to register online.

GRAND CHUTE, WI – Timber Rattlers Give Back, the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, raised more than $185,000 through the Foundation’s events, programs, donations, and fundraising initiatives in 2021.
The Cyclones Kids Camp will return for the 2022 season to give the next generation of baseball stars the chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball with an emphasis on FUN. The camp will run from Wednesday, August 17th – Friday, August 19th. The registration fee is $150 if registered by January 15, 2022 and $200 after.
2021 was a year full of firsts for the Wichita Wind Surge. In addition to bringing affiliated baseball back to Wichita, the inaugural season was also an opportunity for the Wind Surge to give back to a community that has rallied so much support around the new stadium and new team. Various programs and partnerships were put in place to help support several non-profit and philanthropic organizations around the Wichita and Sedgwick County community.
