BlueClaws Charities Announces Grant Recipients

JERSEY SHORE, NJ – BlueClaws Charities announced a list of 31 organizations that received a grant from the organization.

BlueClaws Charities, the official non-profit organization of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, raises money throughout the year as part of a series of initiatives. These include a 50/50 raffle at BlueClaws home games, specialty fundraising events like the team’s Virtual Hot Stove held this year in March, merchandise sales, and more.

Grant money will once again be kept within Ocean & Monmouth Counties.

“We are delighted to once again distribute grants to these deserving non-profit organizations in our communities,” said BlueClaws Charities President Kevin Fenstermacher. “Our mission is to help those less fortunate around the Jersey Shore, and these grants to 31 unique organizations will benefit those in need.”

Below, find a list of organizations to receive a grant (organizations are listed alphabetically):

  • ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, to subsidize their care services program for families of patients diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in Monmouth & Ocean Counties.
  • A Need We Feed, to provide meals to veterans, seniors, elementary school children, and families in Ocean County.
  • The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, to offer fitness classes twice a week for program participants.
  • The Ashley Lauren Foundation, to provide financial assistance to families with children diagnosed with cancer.
  • The Brodie Fund, for financial assistance to families that have a pet diagnosed with cancer.
  • Brody’s Crew, to purchase drawstring bags with items like stress balls, sanitizer, glow sticks, silly string, and more, in honor of what would have been Brody’s 6th birthday, to support inpatient families at CHOP.
  • Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey, to help onboard new volunteers for the organization, which provides supportive services to people who are 60 and older and can no longer drive.
  • Child Care Resources, to support their Diaper Bank, providing diapers and wipes to individuals and organizations in Monmouth County.
  • David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, to provide financial assistance, wellness services, and hope to Jersey Shore families affected by a cancer diagnosis.
  • Easterseals New Jersey, to ensure continuation of employment services programs featuring skills evaluation, resume building and interview skills to help place participants into jobs within the local community.
  • Exit 82 Theatre Company, to help purchase a new refrigerator for concessions at performances.
  • Family Promise of Southern Ocean County, to provide emergency shelter to homeless children and their families throughout Ocean County.
  • Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, to purchase chairs needed for their Program Activity Center in Farmingdale, which supports Girl Scout fundraisers and girl programs throughout the year.
  • Homes Now, to assist the nearly 250 individuals and families who reside in Homes Now housing units with food items, cleaning supplies, activities, and more.
  • Jersey Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America, to offset the costs related to Scouting, such as registration fees, uniforms, and program fees, for families at the Jersey Shore.
  • JF Party Dragon, to purchase food for local food pantries
  • Kids Need More, for an event to support children under 18 and their families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
  • LADACIN Network, to support their Give and Take Child Care Center in Monmouth County, which provides services for children with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays and typically developing children.
  • Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski Memorial Fund, towards the sponsorship of a service dog.
  • Ma Deuce Deuce, to support a Audrey’s Toy Chest, an initiative to ensure Christmas occurs for local veteran families in need.
  • The Mya Lin Terry Foundation, for siblings of those with pediatric cancer.
  • Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, for a home repair project to help subsidize the increased costs incurred after the pandemic.
  • Ocean County Family Support Organization, to support their youth partnership, made up of youth between 12-21 living in Ocean County with behavioral, emotional, mental health, and developmental challenges.
  • Ocean County Shrine Club, to support the 20 pediatric patients of Philadelphia Shriners’ Hospital for Children based in Ocean & Monmouth Counties.
  • Ocean Partnership for Children, to support the needs of the youth served, including food, clothing, and community activities.
  • Ocean’s Harbor House, to provide shelter, support, and services for vulnerable youth including at their 12-bed shelter.
  • Parents of Autistic Children (POAC), to support their Challenger Sports League to offer a socialization opportunity through athletic participation between disabled students and their non-disabled peers.
  • Raising Hope for Others, to support their annual golf outing held in August of 2022.
  • Seabrook Village, to provide books and magazines for residents at their senior living community.
  • Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, to distribute 200 behavioral health toolkits to students attending Monmouth/Ocean County schools.
  • The Salvation Army, to support their Hearty Helpings, which serves the hungry at their Toms River, with the purchase of additional cookware and containers.
  • Tom Giannattasio Jr. Memorial Fund, to provide financial aid to first responders, their spouse, and children struggling with finances due to medical burdens from sickness or injury.
  • United Way of Monmouth & Ocean Counties, to support an annual coat drive for local pre-school to middle-school aged children.

Drive 4 Harvest Hope at Fluor Field November 19

The Greenville Drive are proud to partner with WYFF News 4 to host the Drive 4 Harvest Hope at Fluor Field November 19 from noon-7 PM.

Please donate nonperishable food items to the Main Street gate at Fluor Field for those in need this holiday season. All items will directly benefit Harvest Hope–a foodbank located in Greenville.

WYFF News 4 will also produce their evening broadcast live at the stadium to support the food drive.

Additionally, the Drive will honor longtime respected news anchor Michael Cogdill who is retiring after 32 years behind the desk at WYFF. Join us to support the food drive and show appreciation to one of Greenville’s most-beloved voices.

Travs Announce Formation of Non-Profit Youth Foundation

The Arkansas Travelers Baseball Club is excited to announce the establishment of the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity that will serve as the official team charity of the Arkansas Travelers. The creation of the foundation allows the Travs to help foster an environment where baseball and softball in Arkansas can thrive as the club uses its assets to empower young athletes.

Longtime Arkansas Travelers front office employee Lance Restum will take on the role of Director of Charities and Community Support and serve as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation. Restum had been serving as an Assistant General Manager for the Travs. A native of Houston, Texas, Restum has been part of the Travelers staff since 2006, the final season at Ray Winder Field. He has filled numerous roles including Director of Marketing and Public Relations and most recently Assistant General Manager. In addition to his new role, Restum will continue as the Travelers’ popular on-field emcee at home games.

“We are thrilled to create the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation and hope to create a long lasting impact on youth baseball and softball throughout the state of Arkansas,” said Travs CEO Rusty Meeks. “Lance is well known within our communities and is the perfect choice to make this endeavor a success.”

With the creation of this foundation, the Travs organization seeks to support youth sports and education programs across the state of Arkansas. Initiatives include community impact grants and scholarships. The Travs believe that all young athletes should have access to the games of baseball and softball, regardless of barriers they may face and support those who wish to pursue careers working in sports.

More information regarding the launch of the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation will be available in 2022.

Founded in 1901, the Arkansas Travelers are the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and call Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock home. Turkey Drive sponsored by Provident Bank to be held at Coca-Cola Park

Allentown, Pennsylvania (4 November 2021) – Provident Bank, New Bethany Ministries, and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs are partnering once again to hold a frozen turkey drive on Thursday, November 18 from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, PA. Residents who visit the ballpark will be able to donate a frozen turkey (10-12 lb. preferred). The frozen turkeys will be collected in a refrigerated truck and stored until distribution later that afternoon. New Bethany Ministries has set a goal to collect and distribute 1,000 frozen turkeys to community-based nonprofits throughout the Lehigh Valley.

“New Bethany is truly grateful for the endless support from our community of volunteers and donors, especially now as we assist nonprofits from around the area in helping their clients celebrate Thanksgiving with a home-cooked meal,” said Marc Rittle, Executive Director of New Bethany Ministries. “Thanks to our partnership with Provident Bank and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, hundreds of families throughout the Lehigh Valley will have a turkey this year.”

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing individual with a fun, energetic personality. Must be 16 or older, able to attend Drive home games, work nights and weekends and have reliable transportation.

You will be responsible for handing out promotional material, assisting with mascot functions, helping with sponsored promotions, pumping up the crowd and having FUN!

The Drive wants positive minded persons. You will be the fresh face of our promo team that will be responsible for interacting with fans and making sure they have a pleasant experience.

Auditions will consist of interactive group games, improv activities, and opportunities to interact with other candidates and the judges. These activities are meant to assess each candidate’s personality, enthusiasm, energy, teamwork skills and their comfort level in front of a crowd.

Candidates should wear comfortable, but active, attire INCLUDING athletic shoes

An orientation time will be announced at a later date if you are selected to the team.

REEDY

The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to sustain energy throughout a Drive game. Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation. Height Requirements: 5’9″ to 6’2″ to fit into the costume. You must be a highly skilled performer with a great ability to improvise and animate. Previous experience as an animator, character, mascot, or interactive entertainer is a plus. Seeking people in good physical condition with skills in dancing, tumbling, gymnastics or acrobatics. Must be good with children and be an outgoing people person.

Position requires five months of 66 home games to attend, from April through September. You will have a preset schedule of game dates and times. Most games are in the evening and dates will include weekends. Please note our mascot performs outside in summer months and must take into consideration the likelihood for high temperatures. Additional appearance requests will be all calendar year. You will be required to fulfil additional non-gameday appearances to be considered for gameday appearances. Compensation is on a per game basis and will be paid bi-weekly.

Those interested in auditioning will be required to have a 30 second to minute long performance/sketch prepared. This performance is at the discretion of the performer and must be appropriate for a family audience. We suggest you incorporate skits, your dancing abilities, and how you would interact with fans of any age. Tryouts will be on the dugout top. Please arrive on time. We will audition all candidates until all have had opportunity.

Please wear athletic/workout attire.

Sherman Johnson Awarded With Twins Harmon Killebrew Award For Community Service

ST. PAUL, MN (October 1, 2021) – The Minnesota Twins today announced the 2021 Harmon Killebrew Award winners for outstanding minor league community service. Following the Hall of Famer’s death in 2011, the Twins have annually recognized a player from each of the organization’s full-season affiliates. Each player is nominated by their respective general manager for their service within the affiliate’s community. A plaque is awarded, in addition to an on-field presentation during spring training. Though opportunities for community involvement were limited in 2021 due to COVID restrictions, this year’s winners made the best of the circumstances to make an impact in their respective cities.

Infielder Sherman Johnson has been named the winner of the award representing Triple-A St. Paul. Johnson is passionate about reading and promoting literacy, and was active in the Saints’ Reading Tree program this past season. The program took place on the outfield grass prior to Sunday home games and featured a Saints player and a local author/illustrator reading books to kids. Johnson, 31, signed a minor league contract with the Twins on May 12 and began the season at Double-A Wichita, before being transferred to St. Paul on June 1. He batted a combined .202 (45-for-223) with 10 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 33 RBI, 36 runs scored and 46 walks in 75 games for the Saints and Wind Surge.

Right-handed pitcher Hector Lujan has been named the winner of the award representing Double-A Wichita, his third time earning the honor (2014 – Cedar Rapids and 2019 – Pensacola). The 27-year-old was recognized by the Wind Surge front office as the first player to reach out about community engagement opportunities, despite the limits imposed by the pandemic. Lujan was also quick to engage and interact with fans by signing autographs, and was always willing to assist the front office whenever needed. He went 3-2 with a 3.62 ERA (32.1 IP, 13 ER), nine walks and 33 strikeouts in 18 games for the Wind Surge, missing time due to injury.

Catcher Alex Isola has been named the winner of the award representing Single-A Cedar Rapids. Isola volunteered with the local Meals on Wheels chapter during the 2021 season, delivering meals to those in need in his free time and encouraging his teammates to do the same. The 23-year-old also spent significant time signing autographs for fans whenever possible, using the bullpen area as his base. Isola spent the entire 2021 season with the Kernels, his first full professional campaign, hitting .243 (88-for-362) with 15 doubles, 17 home runs, 52 RBI, 47 runs scored and 53 walks in 98 games.

Catcher Jeferson Morales has been named the winner of the award representing Single-A Fort Myers. Morales was recognized by the Mighty Mussels front office as a player who went above and beyond regarding fan interaction during the season, noting his constant willingness to interact with fans and sign autographs whenever he could. The 22-year-old split the 2021 minor league season between Fort Myers and Cedar Rapids, batting a combined .255 (84-for-329) with 24 doubles, 12 home runs, 53 RBI, 12 stolen bases and 54 runs scored in 96 games.

Blue Wahoos Providing Trick-Or-Treat On The Diamond Friday In Halloween Event

Returning a Halloween-themed event to Blue Wahoos Stadium a year ago provided organizers with a new idea.

What about having Trick-or-Treat stations on the field, thus giving children a more wide-open, space and place to run around?

That will happen Friday night, beginning at 5 p.m. when the Blue Wahoos host a Halloween celebration night, sponsored by T-Mobile, and complete with popcorn, candy stations set up by area businesses, a Walt Disney movie, and a fireworks show above the stadium for families to enjoy.

Admission is $5 for the event and gates will open at 5 p.m. Friday to start the Trick-or-Treat procession.

“I love offering the stadium as a safe space for parents to have an alternative from, say, going door to door (in neighborhoods) for Halloween,” said Shannon Reeves, the Blue Wahoos events director. “I feel having businesses giving out candy in an open community space, still checks the boxes for kids to ‘Trick or Treat’, but also brings some comfort for wary parents who might not want kids to go door to door.”

The movie “Hocus Pocus” will be shown at 6 p.m. on the stadium video board. Ticket holders can either sit on the field (blankets only, no chairs), or utilize the stadium bowl seats to watch the film. Fireworks will follow. T-Mobile is providing popcorn bags for the first 500 people.

Following the movie, there will be a fireworks display to close out the event.

“To me, Hocus Pocus is your perfect, family, Halloween movie,” said Reeves, who wanted to ensure a movie did not contain violence or rough language. “It is a cult favorite and I think always will be. It is a fun, family movie.”

The Blue Wahoos have partnered with 30 area businesses, who will set up their stations along the perimeter of the field. A year ago, the Halloween night at the stadium utilized the concourses for Trick or Treat stations.

This time, it will enable people to purchase beverages and food at concessions areas without crowding the area.

“We’re excited about the plan to have everything on the field,” Reeves said. “The concourse is not super conducive to a Trick or Treat type of event with the main gate stairs in the middle. We wanted to give people the opportunity to go here, there, or everywhere and not be stuck in a line.

“Kids can run from booth to booth and have free reign of the stadium which I know parents will love. Get treats and then watch the movie.”

Incorporating local businesses was a popular pitch, she said.

“It gives those businesses a chance to come out, free of charge, and to have their businesses showcased in front of a large amount of people,” Reeves said.

“I think people really appreciated that. We were offering a chance to be part of a community event without having to pay anything.”

The Blue Wahoos held Halloween events in their early part of the team’s history. A year ago, the concept was brought back and revised during a time when the ongoing coronavirus pandemic cancelled many indoor Halloween events.

From that experience, the Blue Wahoos made the current revision.

“We had such a great turnout, such a great response,” Reeves said. “People were very grateful for it. We did it with a movie, which we had not done before in previous Halloween events.

“This gives us a chance to fulfill our mission again in the community. When we talked about this year, we decided on how to make this an even smoother, even better event.

“We’re just trying to give families a safe place to come, and give kids a safe place to come in their costumes. And not worry about traffic. Or not worry about running in the street.”

Friday’s event closes out a busy October at the stadium. In addition to a variety of smaller private events, Blue Wahoos Stadium has been a venue for the Soul Bowl youth football event, the Nitro Circus stunt bikes show, the First City Art Pumpkin Patch, along with two UWF football games.

‘It has been a banner October,” Reeves said. “We have seen probably the most diverse group of events in this stadium than I have ever seen. All of these events have brought in different audiences and demographics. And (Friday) will be a great finale to the month.”

WooSox to Preserve Pawtucket Tradition by Sending Two Kids from its Boys & Girls Club to The World Series

WORCESTER, MA – Continuing a Rhode Island tradition that dates back 71 years, the Worcester Red Sox will send a pair of youngsters from the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket on an all-expense-paid trip to see Games 3 and 4 of the 2021 World Series at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA, this Friday and Saturday night.

Michael Cute, 11, and Jeremy Torres, 13, will be accompanied by their fathers, Matthew Cute and Juan Luis Torres Caquias. Both families are from Pawtucket.

“These kids are going to remember this experience for the rest of their lives,” said Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket CEO, Jim Hoyt. “We’re grateful that the Worcester Red Sox are continuing this tradition that goes back decades, and that they haven’t forgotten about our kids in Pawtucket. It’s one of our favorite traditions.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of carrying on this amazing tradition for over three decades during my time in Pawtucket,” said WooSox Vice Chairman Mike Tamburro, the longtime president of the PawSox. “Now we get to continue this tradition from my hometown in Worcester and give them a proper send-off from our new home at Polar Park.”

The two children were randomly chosen during a Boys & Girls Club group outing at Polar Park this season. This year’s trip marks the 31st year that the franchise has sent two children from the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, each accompanied by a parent, to baseball’s Fall Classic.

The tradition began in 1950 when the New York Football Giants’ longtime running back, Hank Soar, became an American League baseball umpire. Soar, who grew up in Pawtucket and graduated from what is now Tolman High School, had been discovered umpiring by Central Mass native Connie Mack, the legendary owner and manager of the Philadelphia Athletics. After Soar established the annual tradition of providing tickets to a pair of children, the City of Pawtucket assumed the responsibility before passing the torch to the Pawtucket Red Sox in 1990. After completing 50 years in Rhode Island in 2020, the club is sending the students this year for the first time as the Worcester Red Sox.

“I am pleased to see this longstanding tradition continue,” said Mayor of Pawtucket Donald R. Grebien. “It means so much for our youth to be able to have this opportunity and I am glad that the WooSox will be continuing to provide this great experience.”

The Fort Wayne TinCaps (High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres) are currently accepting résumés, cover letters, and references from students that are interested in being considered for an internship position during the 2022 season. Interviews will be conducted starting in November and early December, and the expectation is to have the internship positions filled as soon as possible. Dragons Home Run Challenge Presented by Lexus of Dayton Raises More Than $17,000 for the Dayton Foodbank

As the Dayton Dragons entered the 2021 season, the organization developed a goal of doing more than saying “thank you” to the community. The Dragons organization felt that it was important to express its appreciation with action.

Fans throughout the region had provided an overwhelming outpouring of love and support towards the Dragons organization during the challenging summer of 2020. In response, the Dragons organization made a pledge to give back to the community in new and creative ways in 2021. That pledge led to the development of a new program called the “Home Run Challenge.”

The concept was simple: For every home run hit by the Dayton Dragons at Day Air Ballpark during the 2021 season, the Dragons and Lexus of Dayton would donate $200 to a worthy local charity.

As the Home Run Challenge got underway and Dragons fans learned about the program, they began contributing as well. By the end of the Dragons season, the Home Run Challenge had raised $17,798 for the Dayton Foodbank.

On October 25, the Dayton Dragons and Lexus of Dayton General Manager Aaron Forland presented The Foodbank with a check for $17,798. The Foodbank’s Chief Development Officer, Lee Truesdale, graciously accepted the donation.

ABOUT THE DAYTON FOODBANK:

The Foodbank’s mission is to relieve hunger in the community through a network of partner agencies by acquiring and distributing food. They are able to serve as the charitable hunger relief network in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble counties. Just one dollar donated provides those in need with 5 meals.

WooSox and Canal District Alliance Present Inaugural “Trick-Or-Treat at Polar Park”

WORCESTER, MA – Celebrating their first Halloween in their new neighborhood, the Worcester Red Sox are joining the Canal District Alliance to present the WooSox’ inaugural “Trick or Treat at Polar Park” on Sunday, October 31, from 2-7 p.m. There is no charge, and all are welcome.

Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” will entertain families on the giant left-field videoboard at 5 p.m., rain or shine. Fans can watch from inside the DCU Club or in outdoor seats.

Children can walk the WooSox Loop and receive candy throughout the ballpark from WooSox staff members. Mascots Smiley Ball and Woofster the WonderDog will be available for autographs, photographs, and lots of laughs. The typically blue ballpark will be dressed in seasonal decorations.

“All of us are excited that the WooSox are doing something fun for the neighborhood on Halloween,” said Amy Chase, Owner of Crompton Collective and Co-Vice President of the Canal District Alliance. “We hope that families and trick-or-treaters alike will be able to enjoy a fun-filled Sunday afternoon and evening in Worcester’s Canal District.”

“For years, we have looked forward to our first Halloween together at Polar Park,” said WooSox President Dr. Charles A. Steinberg. “Together with our friends and neighbors in the Canal District Alliance, we are eager to enjoy another October weekend that brings life, energy, and joy to this vibrant downtown neighborhood.”

The event will also feature the presentation of awards to fans who decorated pumpkins in the WooSox’ Inaugural “Polar Park Pumpkin Patch.” Fans are allowed to bring their entries right through Halloween.

FirstEnergy Stadium to Host 15th Annual Eastern PA Toy for Tots

(Reading, PA) – FirstEnergy Stadium will welcome the 15th Annual Eastern PA Toy Run, presented by Classic Harley-Davidson, on Sunday, November 7th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza. Please note this is Daylight Savings so make sure to turn your clocks back and join us at the ballpark for a good cause!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and The Children’s Home of Reading. Bikers will come from Classic Harley-Davidson and present a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for a free Berks Hot Dog and hot chocolate.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a toy of any value or make a monetary donation that will be used to purchase additional toys for children.

The Grand Slam Grill and the Yuengling Tap Room will be open for classic ballpark food and drink. In addition, the Brentwood Industries Fightin Phils Team Store will be open during the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be live music in the plaza!

Motorcycle registration for the Toy Run will begin at 9 a.m. at Classic Harley-Davidson. The ride will depart from Classic Harley-Davidson on Route 183 at 11:30 a.m. and will follow a direct route to America’s Classic Ballpark arriving at approximately 11:50 a.m. All motorcycles, Jeeps, and classic cars are welcome to participate in the Eastern PA Toy Run with a donation of an unwrapped toy.

The Eastern PA Toy Run began in 2007 after the Berks County Toys for Tots motorcycle run was nearly cancelled due to the deployment of the Marine Corps Reserve Unit. Multiple motorcycle runs combined and teamed with the Fightin Phils in order to continue benefitting Toys for Tots in Berks and Lebanon counties as well as The Children’s Home of Reading.

Free Baseball Clinic at SRP Park on November 13th

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, in conjunction with Complete Game, are excited to announce the 8th Annual Line Drive Canned Food Drive FREE Baseball Clinic in memory of Terry Childers Sr. on Saturday, November 13th from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.

“We are excited to bring back the 8th Annual Line Drive Canned Food Drive and FREE Baseball Clinic to SRP Park in 2021,” stated GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger. “This is a morning full of great professional instruction, an opportunity to help Golden Harvest Food Bank and a time to celebrate the legacy of Terry Childers Sr. It’s our privilege to work with Matt and the Childers family to play a small roll in this growing annual event.

T-Mobile and the R-Phils Celebrate First Responders Day

The Reading Fightin Phils are partnering up with T-Mobile to commemorate National First Responders Day. On Thursday, October 28, they will host a FREE lunch at FirstEnergy Stadium for all first responders in the area.

From 11:45AM-2PM, T-Mobile will be providing a FREE lunch to support our police, firefighters, and other first responders in the area. Food will be provided by a local food truck at the ballpark thanks to Gourmand Café. Gourmand’s food truck specializes in artisan street food for all different types of eaters to enjoy.

Trash Pandas Hosting Trunk or Treat on October 30

Trunk or Treat and Halloween Movie Night will be returning to Toyota Field for the second time on Saturday, October 30. Trick-or-treating at Toyota Field will be from 5-7 p.m. in the Toyota Outfield Experience followed by a screening of The Haunted Mansion at 7:15 p.m.

“We are looking forward to welcoming fans back to Toyota Field for the biggest Halloween celebration in North Alabama,” Trash Pandas General Manager Garrett Fahrmann said. “This event is perfect for fans of all ages, and we can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their Halloween costumes.”

Tickets are $10 if purchased before the day of the event. On October 30, tickets will be available for $15. Parking at Toyota Field is free and available at the gravel parking lot.

The Rocket City Wranglers will be on hand to provide over 60 trunks for the event from 5-7.

The Dumpster Dive concession stand will be open for fans to purchase traditional ballpark fare.
