This year’s collection of Educational Days at Hammons Field brings Southwest Missouri teachers and students numerous chances for field trips to a 2020 Cardinals day game! Each Educational Day features a special pre-game forum for students before an 11:10 a.m. Cardinals game.

Educational Days for All Ages/Classes
April 20 (Monday), Missouri Department of Conservation Educational Day: A wildlife-themed Educational Day for students of all ages in the seats behind the Cardinals dugout before the Cardinals face the Corpus Christi Hooks.
April 22 (Wednesday), Bass Pro Shops and Wonders of Wildlife Educational Day: A wildlife-focused Educational Day inside Hammons Field before the Cardinals face the Tulsa Drillers. Hosted by representatives from Bass Pro Shops and Wonders of Wildlife.
May 6 (Wednesday), Dickerson Park Zoo Educational Day:Brand new this season! Springfield’s wonderful Dickerson Park Zoo will be bringing animals and zookeepers to Hammons Field for a fur-tastic Educational Day before the Cardinals host the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
May 20 (Wednesday), KY3 Weather School Educational Day: The always interactive KY3 Weather School is back for the 2020 season! This always-popular Educational Day is for students of all ages and takes place outdoors with KY3 meteorologists before the Cardinals face the Hooks.
June 17 (Wednesday), Discovery Center Science Day: Science and baseball combine for this mid-summer Educational Day taking place before the Cardinals game against the Drillers.

April 20 (Monday), Cardinals Leadership Forum: High School classes can join us in the Cardinals Indoor Training Facility for our annual Leadership Forum before our game vs. the Hooks.
April 22 (Wednesday), Career in Sports Day: Special for High School classes, members of the Cardinals Front Office will lead Career in Sports Day in the Cardinals Indoor Training Facility.
May 6 (Wednesday), Cardinals Leadership Forum: Middle School classes can join us in the Cardinals Indoor Training Facility for our annual Leadership Forum before our game vs. the Travelers.
May 20 (Wednesday), Marketing, Promoting & Selling the Cardinals: Open to High School or Middle School classes, Cardinals staff members will host Marketing, Promoting & Selling the Cardinals forum in our Indoor Training Facility.

MOOSIC, PA (March 2, 2020) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders are pleased to announce the schedule for the RailRiders University Community Series, presented by Geisinger. Each spring, the RailRiders welcome local collegiate, high school and special needs teams onto PNC Field to showcase their talents.

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) — The Charlotte Knights will once again provide educational funding through two unique scholarships for high school students with help from two of their founding partners. The Charlotte Knights Healthcare Scholarship, presented by Atrium Health, along with the Charlotte Knights STEM Scholarship Program, presented by Piedmont Natural Gas, each represent the team’s focus on community initiatives.
The Couch Oil Cares Scholarship Program was established in 2015 in an effort to help defray the rising costs of higher education. Again this year, Couch Oil Company is teaming up with the Durham Bulls to award scholarships to six deserving students. The $1,000 scholarship is available to students who have been accepted into either a four-year or community college and reside in a 16-country area surrounding the Triangle.
Dayton, Ohio-Opening night for the 2020 baseball season at Day Air Ballpark is nine weeks away, but Dayton Dragons mascots Heater and Gem along with the Dragons Green Team are already bringing the excitement of baseball season to local elementary schools. For the eighth straight year, the Dragons entertainment team is performing assemblies at Miami Valley elementary schools. The program continues into April.
San Antonio – The Elmore Sports Group, owners of the San Antonio Missions, have partnered with Bowie State University to diversify the front office staffs of its teams. The partnership is the first of its kind for Maryland’s oldest historically black university and is designed to create a college-to-career pipeline for students with an interest in a career in sport management.
“I want to own a sports facility, so starting at the bottom will teach me how everything operates, and once I know how to operate the building, I’ll be able to own the building,” said Johnson. “I’ll work my way up. Stadium operations is what I want to do. Working here gives me the opportunity to learn.”
