
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston RiverDogs will host the 15th annual Run Charlie Run 5K presented by Fleet Feet Sports on Saturday, May 19. The event starts at 4 p.m. at Joe Riley
Park and culminates with a home plate finish.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Campaign for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
“We’re excited to once again welcome our hundreds of runners to our annual 5K for a memorable run and ballgame later that night,” said RiverDogs Director of Special Events Lisa Dingman. “It’s a great way to spend a Saturday with the run and a RiverDogs game while benefitting a great cause.”
Early registration for the event is $30 and includes entry to the race, a ball cap, a post-race dinner and beer, and a ticket to the night’s game against the Columbia Fireflies. Runners can register to the event by following the link HERE.
